What changed, and what didn't.
The name changed; the mandate grew from branding to strategy, brand, digital, marketing, and systems. The founder, the standards, and every client relationship did not change. If we've worked together, nothing you count on is going anywhere.
The work grew past its own name.
When BrandMEE started in Baton Rouge, the assignment was focused: help founders, organizations, and ministries look as capable as they actually are. That work grew, and kept growing past its own name. Clients came for a brand and stayed for strategy, websites, campaigns, and the systems underneath all of it. So BrandMEE became Avad Shamar Creative, the creative strategy division of Avad Shamar Co. The name comes from ancient words meaning to cultivate and to guard: to steward what has been entrusted to you. That has always been the real work, and now the company is named for it.
The vision got bigger. The company grew to hold it.
